Duty description:

Responsible to support the Center for Army Analysis mission of conducting decision support analysis for senior level decision-makers as a campaign analyst and study director who leads or contributes to study teams of uniformed and DA civilian Operations Research analysts. Responsible for campaign analysis of Defense Planning Scenarios and geographic Combatant Command OPLANS. CAMPAIGN WARGAME ANALYST

Conducts theater, joint and combined campaign analyses across the spectrum of conflict in a Joint, Interagency, Intergovernmental, and Multinational (JIIM) context to inform critical senior leader decisions within the HQDA, Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, and OSD. Directs application of the operational art, wargaming and analytic methods to evaluate current and future warplans and warfighting capabilities against conventional and/or irregular adversaries; and to assess the warfighting capability of the Joint and combined military forces to meet operational and strategic ends. Coordinates the integration of analytic methods that include operational-level wargames, sophisticated quantitative and statistical techniques, and high-definition computer models and simulations to include the Center for Army Analysis Wargame Analysis Model (CAAAWS) and Joint Logistics Wargame Analysis Model (LOGJAM).

THIS POSITION REQUIRES MANAGEMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE ADAPTIVE PLANNING PROCESS FROM STRATEGIC GUIDANCE TO COMPLETION OF USCYBERCOM LEVEL ONE THROUGH LEVEL FOUR DELIBERATE PLANS. THE SERVICE MEMBER WILL ENSURE SYNCHRONIZATION OF USCYBERCOM MISSIONS INTO DELIBERATE PLANS THROUGH INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL COLLABORATION AND COORDINATION WITH COMPONENTS, COMBATANT COMMANDS, WITH OTHER GOVERNMENT AGENCIES, AND ALLIED/COALITION PARTNERS, AS APPROPRIATE. THE SERVICE MEMBER WILL DEVELOP, REVISE AND COORDINATE ANALYTICS AS REQUIRED BY CAMPAIGN PLANS AND ORDERS IN SUPPORT OF ASSIGNED MISSIONS. OPERATIONS PLANS, OR THEIR SUPPORTING ANNEXES, AND/OR OPERATIONS ORDERS MAY BE PREPARED IN RESPONSE TO A COMBATANT COMMAND?S PLANNING DIRECTIVE.
